Linda Richardson Rice Trust

Linda Rice was an educator for 45 years. She was a founding member of Saddleback College in 1965, and an original faculty member in the business department. Linda started out teaching Secretarial Science, but went on to become a whiz in the computer field, which prompted a switch to teaching Computer Information Management until her retirement in 1995. Education played a major role in Linda’s life. She started her education at a community college, earned her advanced degree at UCLA, and ultimately became a teacher. Upon her death, she left a sizable endowed scholarship to Saddleback College to help students going into the field of education, to follow in her footsteps.
